Nothing fancy. I just used the animation feature in Adobe Photoshop CS4 and drew everything with my tablet. You can find some pretty comprehensive tutorials on deviantArt.

Step-by-step-wise, it’s just a matter of keeping consistent. I treated each new layer as a new frame, lowering the opacity of the drawing underneath so I could draw a new frame on top of it. I planned out all the movement first, which can be kind of unsatisfying, since it’s just a bunch of skeletal guidelines wiggling around. Only after it looks like the movements are figured out do I go back and start putting in character definitions.

So yeah. Nothing fancy.
